“Mel Eckert is a well established and actively working stunt performer from Australia. With a strong background in various Martial Arts styles (TKD, Muay Thai, and Kali).
In 2016 Mel took on a contract for a live show at a theme park in Malaysia, where she was doing daily performances displaying car skills such as tandem drift routines, 90/180/360 slides and 2-wheeling.

Her most notable credits include Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) where she doubled for Elsa Pataky and was one of only two female riders on the job full-time, The Fall Guy (2024) as a stunt performer in various roles, including the truck driving double for Stephanie Hsu, and I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) doubling for Madelyn Cline.
Mel is a hardworking professional, with great on set etiquette, and a drive for constant self-improvement and learning. Mel and her husband Jake Bennett are also current Guinness World Record Holders for the ‘longest distance motorcycle jump with a passenger dirt to dirt’. SKILLS
* 15+years of Martial Arts training. Started in Taekwondo, then moved into Jeet Kune Do/Kali then into Muay Thai/Kickboxing (including contact sparring). * 12 months in live show performing vehicle stunts and stunt acting roles. Precision/Stunt driving (manual, L& R hand drive vehicles, hitting marks, drifting, pipe ramp, ramp jumps upto 30ft, 90/180 slides, j-turns). * Fight experience on set, including weapons (swords, guns). Good with learning choreography; Experience with hard wrecks and reactions on set, including bullet hits, squibs, face plants. * Full and partial fire burns as a performer and safety team. * Cast in stunt acting roles for TV Commercials (Tylenol, Axel F Netflix promo). * Basic moto training. Learnt to ride on a trials bike, moved onto a KX250f dirt bike and a Kawasaki 636 zxr road bike. Experience on set with basic riding motorbikes and ATVs. (various styles of bike, MX tracks, sand experience, small jumps, basic slides, pillion for large dirt bike jumps). * Trained in wirework: aerial, jerkback, deadman, decel, rappelling, twist ring, etc. Basic rigging experience. * Comfortable in full prosthetics. Experience on set in full Alien latex/foam suit and skyrunner stilts. *General swimming. Basic scuba diving. Can operate Jetski.
